and wrapped in some tissue paper was the little friendship bracelet from my 9 yr old cousin. i damn near started to cry. how sweet was that. and how cute is she. ugh, i remember when i was little i was really close with my cousin Megan and i used to do things like this all the time for her and she was always so appreciative .. and now that im getting them, it just feels so nice. i was never really close with her either - its kinda funny bc she so much younger then me and a lot of us are all close in age and then its her and her twin brother thats so much younger so we didnt really spend a lot of time together...but after spending the weekend with her and watching the fireworks and playin on the beach with her, i think im gonna make a conscious effort to try and hang out and take her places like my cousin did for me. i remember how excited i used to get knowing that i was going to be hanging out with my big cousin and i want to do that for my little Olivia too.
its the little things like that this that make my entire week :)
